The Albany Area Employer Committee and the Georgia Department of Labor Albany Career Center present an employer seminar entitled "Your Questions About Unemployment Insurance...ANSWERED!" This is an interactive seminar where unemployment insurance experts will discuss some of the most frequently asked questions by employers. Here is your opportunity to ask questions and join an open discussion regarding unemployment insurance. Business Owners, Human Resources Managers/Staff, Supervisors, & Entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 8:30am-11:30am. On Saturday, May 10, 2008, the Albany Area Employer Committee and the Albany Career Center partnered with Dougherty County Schools Workforce Investment Act Program in training and mentoring 20 high school youth from various high schools in our area.
