On Tuesday, June 21, the Albany Area Employer Committee hosted a 2011 General Assembly update for its employers. Our guests were Melanie Stockwell, Deputy Commissioner of Legal & Policy Procedures, GDOL, and Kash Trivedi, Legislative Liaison, GDOL. Ms. Stockwell explained many of the new and updated house bills that were passed by the Georgia General Assembly this year. The committee had over 25 participants and all those attended commented on the information they heard was well received.
