UNEXPECTED HONOR

 

 

With the success of the recent Veterans Express, Inc. Golf Classic in May, an unexpected honor was presented to the organizers of the tournament. Along with a World War II, Korean and Vietnam Veteran, Mr. Ben Celaya, Ms. Evelyn Bishop, who has been the Treasurer since the beginning of the Veterans Express Bus, presented a plaque of appreciation to tournament organizers, Fred McCallum and Debra Hancock, representing the Cairo/Grady County Employer Committee. The plaque reads – In appreciation for your dedication and outstanding service, Veterans Express Bus, Inc. 2011. It goes without saying that the Employers in this community are making a difference in the lives of others. Way to go Grady County.
