KBEC Youth Job Fair 2008

The Georgia Department of Labor - Kings Bay Career Center, Kings Bay Employer Committee (KBEC), Camden County Youth Apprenticeship Program, Camden Chamber of Commerce, Fleet & Family Support Center – Employment Assistance Program of Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Telamon Corporation, Coastal Georgia Community College and Privett-Bennett and Associates, Inc. invite your company to participate in the 13th annual Youth Job Fair 2008. This annual event is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Camden County High School Cafeteria on Laurel Island Parkway, just a few miles from I-95 and Exit 6 in Kingsland.

 

ST. MARYS TO HONOR WOUNDED WARIORS

The observance of Wounded Warriors Day will be held annually beginning Saturday, November 10, 2007. The City of St. Marys in collaboration with American Legion Post 312 will honor wounded veterans. The solemn ceremonial walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. from the Oak Grove Cemetery to Howard Gilman Waterfront Park.

 

Tracy Foreman Scholarship

In July 2003 the Georgia Employer Committee’s Executive Board established the Tracy L. Foreman Scholarship Endowment Fund in honor of Employer Marketing Representative, Tracy L. Foreman. Tracy was the galvanizing force behind the Kings Bay Employer Committee and was a valued and respected colleague and friend. This scholarship is offered in the tradition of Tracy’s exemplary example and constant effort to assist others and better her organization, the employer community, and her community as a whole.

Kings Bay 12th Annual Youth Job Fair

The Georiga Department of Labor-Kings Bay Career Center, Kings Bay Employer Committee, Camden County Youth Apprenticeship Program, Camden-Kings Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and The Fleet and Family Support Center - Employment Assistance Program of Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay invites your company to participate and support the 12th Annual Youth Job Fair 2007. This event is scheduled for Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Camden County High School Cafeteria on Laurel Island Parkway.

 

Faith Copeland-Pittman garners EMR High Achievement Award at 2006 State Conference

Faith Copeland-Pittman, EMR at the Kings Bay Career Center took home a EMR High Achievement Award at the annual Georgia Employer Committee State Conference in Savannah, Georgia. Ms. Copeland-Pittman along with seven other EMRs were given the prestigious award for their hard work, and work in their respective communities through out the year. The Georgia Employer Committee congratulates all of this year's winners for their dedication and hard work
