WWII Veterans Honored on Veterans Day

In honor of Veteran’s Day, more than fifty World War II veterans from Thomas County gathered for a historic walk down memory lane. World War II veterans assembled at the Thomas County Museum of History for a group photo. Fifty-Two Veterans and spouses reminisced, enjoyed refreshments and a nostalgic video presentation of World War II by Robert Porter after pictures were taken. Sponsors for the event included the Georgia Department of Labor Thomasville Career Center, Thomas County Employer Committee, Thomasville Times Enterprise, and the Thomas County Museum of History.
