MB: - Future industry expansion in this community, along with a large manufacturer relocating to our south, may lead towards a skilled labor shortage. This is one of the major issues that our career center and employer committee is currently addressing. I believe future expansion with manufacturers in neighboring communities, may force employers to seek new and creative ways to recruit and retain qualified and skilled employees in this local community. In the future, what would you most like to accomplish as an EMR?
MB: - I would like to implement and build a relationship with employers and the local Career Center to gain opportunities for those job seekers with barriers to employment. I want to be an instrument in the community that promotes awareness of the Georgia Department of Labor and our services.mARCHE` bOYKIN
